Biography
Stephanie L. Kerschbaum (B.A. The Ohio State University, M.A., Ph.D. University of Wisconsin-Madison) is an associate professor in
the Department of English. She teaches graduate and undergraduate
courses in writing studies, including first-year composition,
composition pedagogy, and the history of rhetoric. Her research focuses
on identity, diversity and difference, the teaching of writing, and
disability studies. Her book, Toward a New Rhetoric of Difference (NCTE,
2014) was awarded the 2015 Advancement of Knowledge Award from the
Conference on College Composition and Communication.
