Biography
Dawn Fallik is a medical reporter specializing in data analysis,
and an associate professor at the University of Delaware teaching journalism
and medical writing. She has won awards for investigative reporting, feature
writing and breaking news, and was on the board of the Ochberg Society, which
helps journalists who cover trauma. She
writes for NPR, The Washington Post and Science News, among others and is
co-director of the "Words for Nerds" program aimed at teaching STEM
graduate students how to connect with a general audience. She lives in Philadelphia and is bitter that
Will Smith never visits.
